Dropped camper off in Nov.2021 for a “3-week” fix-picked it up in June&Julyof 2022 Paid $3,000(June)to have a our Camper sealed, new refrigerator, sink fixed, & other small services. Paid without looking or inspecting it. Got home-shocked and devastated. Molding around our door had been pulled up in one corner (moving fridges?). There were metal shavings in the floor, dirt, black mold in our windows, a scrape in the cabinetry (refrigerator installation?). There was used parts/trash on the floor of bathroom. They used all our paper towels to work on fixing our sink and left them in our shower with the door closed. The sink didn’t have a drain fixture. Ultimately the most devastating part was when we opened the left cabinet above our bed. The molding piece on back of wall was in the bottom of cabinet and the seam it covered up had separated. It was damp behind it (yes we could stick our hand behind it) and a water stain on bottom of cabinet. Our camper had not been fixed, was in worse condition than when we dropped it off. They let us pay them $3000 and drive away in this condition. We patiently waited since Nov. of 2021 for it to be fixed. But it had just been rotting away for almost 8 months. Upon taking pictures and calling Bumgarner Camping, the receptionist and service manager were apologetic, nice, & promised everything would be fixed with no charge, except if the front fiberglass cap had to be fixed. July 2022- another $841.15 later- new ($387.00) fiberglass cap had two “creases”and we could see they caulked 1. Asked to speak with owner. Owner said “shouldn’t give us problems”- and “color matched great.”Get home on ladder. It's two 4-6in splits where water can get in. Told we needed rubber re-sealing that would be applied on like paint in a “mop-like” fashioning on roof. We said okay. Roof has had no rubber sealing applied but apparently a $35.00 rubber roof protectant w/ $347.50 in labor. Roof has no visible product on it or what we agreed to.
