Back in early August 2021, the key in the stairlift broke into the equipment. As this was an urgent matter for my mom, I called and explained the issue to the owner and the technician. It was a month later on September 14th, when I heard back from the Administrator indicating that they had to go to the manufacturer in ******. I was able to get a locksmith to fix the equipment within 2 days.
Since February 7, 2022, the stairlift hasn't worked. I have called the owner, emailed, texted, and no response. While the technician has made an effort to come, he tested positive for COVID around Feb 21st. After two weeks, I called the office, the cell phone, texted, and emailed. As of today, March 24th, I have not heard from the owner or the technician. I mentioned to them the urgency of getting the stairlift repaired for my mom, and still, that is of no concern to them. I am willing to pay the service fee. I have since called the manufacturer in ****** to refer me to another company to get the stairlift fix in time for when my mom comes home on Sunday from the rehab facility.
If you're in the market for a stairlift, DO NOT purchase it from ******* A1 Medical Supplies. While the price may be reasonable, the service is terrible. You will not get service when you need it at the most critical time.

2/11 I quoted the customer $125.00 for service and $80.00 for batteries.
I told the customer I could service the unit on Tuesday (2/15) Wednesday (2/16) or (Thursday 2/17)
2/13 Customer emailed me to say she found the batteries cheaper on ******. $23.98 each
I told the customer to order them from ******.
2/14 The customer emailed me to say the batteries would be delivered sometime between (2/16-2/18)
2/16 The customer email me on 2/16 to say that only one battery from ****** was delivered and that the other
battery would be delivered the next week on Wednesday 2/23 or Thursday 2/24.
2/18 I tested positive for COVID.
2/20 Sunday the customer emailed me to say the second battery had been delivered.
2/21 Monday I notified the customer that I and ****** had tested positive for COVID.
I told the customer that we would contact her as soon as one of us was available to service the unit.
3/2 I returned to work, when I thought I was clear from COVID.
3/4 The customer emailed me to say that her mom would be home on Monday 3/7 and wanted to know if I could
service the unit before then. I told the customer that I should be able to service it Monday, and that I would
call her on Monday to schedule.
3/6 Sunday, I had a medical issue arise and had to be hospitalized.
3/7 Monday, the customer spoke to Karin, and Karin notified the customer that I would not be able to do the service,
but that our other technician (******) would be able to service the unit, but it would cost more than the $125.00 that I had originally quoted her.
She declined to have our other technician service the unit, due to the cost of the service.
3/16 I returned to work and had no further communication with the customer.

If the technician (*****) returned back to work after an illness on 3/16, he should have seen my email, text messages, and voice messages. As good customer service, he should have at least called me to see if everything was taken care of. No, he never followed up, and neither did anyone from the company.
Bottom line is, this COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BY WHAT IT ADVERTISES. You will not have "Peace of Mind", and they do not have technicians on call to give you immediate assistance.
"Peace of Mind - A1 Medical Supplies wants you to be safe and happy with your lift chair or stair lift purchase. That is why we stand by every product on our site. We promise that you will not find a better warranty on any of our products anywhere on the Internet. If you ever have a problem with any of our stair lifts, lift chairs, or wheelchair lifts, we have technicians on call to give you immediate assistance."
