We decided to go with Todd Valley farms based on a recommendation from a friend on how they were great and cost friendly. Nick was the salesmen we had. He came out and we went over the yard and project that needed completed. He stated we were under the minimum so it would be a flat charge which we agreed to. we asked to have them start the first week in may and he said they would be in touch with an exact start date. They did not get in touch 3 days before they wanted to start (called on Monday to start on Thursday). They then called and asked on Wednesday if they could start later that day at 5 pm. I agreed as I planned to take off early and get the items that needed moved, moved as long as they gave me a heads up when they left the job that they were at which they stated was in wahoo, we are in Lincoln so it would have given me plenty of time to have the area ready. They then proceeded to show up over an hour early with no advanced call. The sub-crew foreman then was rude the entire time and told me "There are some jobs you just don't take". I called the main office and talked with Kim who told me to not discuss with them anymore and to let them handle the discussion with the crew. The crew completed the work and left around 7pm. The next day I receive a call from nick saying they are now adding an additional $*** to the final cost for having to move additional items, without ever calling or trying to discuss options the night before. We are happy with the new sod but the customer service has been horrible and unreliable at best. We never even signed a contract breaking down everything to be completed and additional charges that may apply at the end of the job. Just had to hope they stayed true to what they quoted which clearly they will not do.
