    Terrible furniture, bad warranties, and pitiful customer service. First set of couches broke beyond repair as confirmed by the *****************, new order was placed in Aug of 2020 for replacement of the furniture. Luckily I was smart enough to shop elsewhere for a new couch and reordered a different rooms furniture instead. 1.5 years, 20+ phone calls, 50+ emails, and 100+ text later I still don't have any furniture. I have been given the run around saying your order is ready to pick up every month since Dec 2020 and every time I call to confirm I get told their system was messed up and that I was still missing items due to COVID. I work in logistics for a living, apparently Ashley is the only business that is having 2 year backups and telling people they are coming next month still.

    Come Feb 2022 and I get the same automated message only to my surprise this time everything actually showed up at the warehouse! Since 2020 I have moved to north Alabama and my order is not large enough for them to offer shipping ($2600). So their solution is for me to shell out $300-$500 for a moving truck to drive 8hrs and get it all myself. Been told I cannot get a refund, I cannot get store credit, I have to buy from the Opelika store and I have to pick it up from the warehouse since the order was from 2020. As if it is my fault that they took almost 2 years for fulfilment.

    I am sure they are glad they aren't coming out of pocket for the cost to ship it to me, but I am also sure that they will lose way more business in this one review that would ever offset that cost if even 1 person heeds my warnings. Do not deal with the Opelika store, you will regret it if anything were to ever go wrong from needing to speak to someone on the phone (which they don't answer) to getting someone to email you back (which they just always seem to "oops I forgot"). Ashley's mediocre over priced furniture isn't worth the hassle. There is one thing they are not in shortage of, and that is excuses.
