It is alleged that between 2010 and 2012, Chandonnet, the owner and operator of Northeast Pedorthics, a durable medical equipment company formerly located in Warwick, and Deborah Brown, who worked as the office manager for Pedorthics, fraudulently submitted claims to the Rhode Island Medicaid Program for payment. It is further alleged that the defendants failed to file personal income tax returns for 2010, 2011 and 2012. The State alleges the total loss to the Rhode Island Medicaid Program is in excess of $600,000.
