Thank you BBB-NH for providing a platform for consumers as well as business owners. The BBB continues to provide a valuable service to consumers nationwide, and specifically our local customers in and around NH. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this customer review.
Massage Chair Wellness first and foremost, are consumer advocates, putting our customers' needs first. Ms. **** and a family member scheduled and visited our massage chair showroom in Hampton, NH, almost three years ago. Over the course of a few hours, they were offered the opportunity to fully and thoroughly inspect and sit in and sample some of the many floor models on display. After several hours, they made a buying decision and placed an order. Product was delivered and installed within the timeframe estimated - with easy email communication with Ms. **** throughout.
Massage Chair Wellness has some of the most customer friendly, transparent return policies in the nation. While we must have a written return policy, we do our best to accommodate our customers - often waiving fees and taking returns or making exchanges at no cost, beyond the time frame of our written return policy. This is especially true for our beloved local customers, because the chairs can quickly and easily be picked up by our company - and do not require additional shipping costs.
Massage Chair Wellness is a small, minority owned business; if we do not answer phone or emails directly, we normally reply within 24-48 hours. We were dismayed about claims of unanswered calls, etc. After a thorough review of all of our phone records (from our internal 3rd party phone system), searching for all 4 (four) phone numbers on record for this customer, as well as reviews of all email communications email from the 2 (two) email addresses on file. Results are as follows: In April of 2021, nearly two years after owning the product, we had calls and a follow-up email; on which warranty services were initiated and carried out, in a very timely manner, under the product warranty.
Beyond that, the only contact was a call/email from the customer, was July 14, 2021, and contained the following request:

We haven’t really used it at all and I am moving to Ireland in a few months and can’t take it with us.

Unfortunately we believe this is a case of buyer's remorse. And although we can not buy back a used product years after purchase, we are happy to refer a potential customer looking for an excellent deal - to a customer we know who, for myriad reasons, are looking to sell their chair. Of course, there is no fee for this service, we just want happy people. We continue to be available to Ms. ****, to assist or initiate service, part, etc., throughout the life cycle of the product.
