Order date: 04/24/2023 3rd party purchase through Bestbuy.com Device began to malfunction 101 days after purchase prompting a warranty claim. The screen and keyboard glitched.Warranty claim filed on 08/28/2023 Claim RMA # ****** Shipped device on 09/08/2023 **** tracking #********************** Correspondence from the company on 09/11/2023 saying the device was recieved and being repaired and would be returned in 10 days.Contacted company on 09/28/2023 in regards to status of repair.Company response was that the device was "in production" and that I would recieve an update with 24hrs.Called from 3 different phone numbers on 09/25/2023 and when I gave my plan ID, ******* hung up each time.This laptop is for my daughter for online school. Each day that she is without it places her further behind. I am currently taking her to the library to complete assigns.This company is a scam.Business response

Hi Ms. ****************** am so sorry that there was an issue with the unit that required a repair, as well as the miscommunications that caused confusion regarding the repair of the unit. I reviewed the case and see that based on the tracking number provided, **********************, and see that the unit was not delivered to our facility until September 19. Upon receipt, the unit was transferred to our repair team for diagnostics which confirmed an issue with the *** slot on the motherboard. The unit is being replaced to resolve the issue, and the replacement has been thoroughly tested to ensure full functionality. The unit is in transit via overnight shipping via ***** with tracking number 685635976050.
Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for giving us the opportunity to resolve this issue.
