I am a 70-year-old woman, a Reverend, and wanted to purchase a white robe to preach in-on communion Sundays. I don't trust websites-but believed that with a name "Divinity" that served the divinity community was trustworthy. Since December 2023, I have constantly requested my money to be credited back to my card because the robe's supposedly white collar was dirty/dingy, someone had worn it before! It was too big, too long, and did not have a tag on the back of it, nor paper tags - hanging from it with the price. I sent it back within 24 hours. I have spoken with *********, who stated that the owner has refused to speak to me. She said that his name is ****** and she refused to give me his last name and contact info. She stated that I could get store credit. Not only is there nothing else that I like there; but unfortunately, I am afraid that if I get something else that it too would be dirty/damaged material that had been worn by others. I sent them this email; Divinity Clergy Wear and ***************** "I am very disappointed that the owner-**************** would not speak with me. As a 70 year old ordained ministerI dont trust websitesbut I took a chance on your store. Since my communication with Divinity Clergy Wear since December 2023 - my distrust of purchasing clothing on websiteswere found to be valid. Please "warn" customers, before hand- your rules of the No RefundCredit only. policy. For example when I go into small businesses, the cashiers inform customers of their policies- prior to purchase of how many days that the person has to return merchandise for a "refund" and how many days they had before there would not be a refundbut a store credit. They were small businesses! I am afraid that if I make a credit purchase at your store the merchandise will have issues - just like the robe that you sent me. Pls contact me. I should have checked the BBB before trusting Divinity Clergy Wear.
