Brought my vehicle in a couple of weeks ago for a noise. I was advised noise from from end of tie rods. Got vehicle back was missing a hub cap which I had to go back and get. Noise is still present. Also had an oil change and they did not provide a new oil change reminder sticker on the windshield. This is not the first time I have been there for a repair and had to return and always pay to finally get to the actual repair needed to fix it. It seems they are not trained technicians and the guessing falls on the owner of the vehicle who is trying to get the vehicle repaired. I reached out to corporate and was told the individual location would have to do something and they could not help. I am aware all individually owned but Meineke still has a home corporate office that should step in. ThanksBusiness response

truck came in with dangerous tie rod ends . Customer was made aware of it. Customer only approved the tie rod ends due to the safty aspect. he declined other services. we tried to reach **************** and no answer or return phone call to see how we can rectify the situation. we are open to try to resolve this issue... regards ************************* operations managerInitial Complaint

I am filing this complaint on behalf of my mother who brought her **** Fusion into the Meineke on ************************************************************************** a few months back for new brakes installation. She paid $1,083.28 for the repairs but began experiencing problems with the car soon after. She then had to have the car towed to a **** dealer in ******. Upon inspection of the car, the service rep at the **** dealer stated that the brake motor was damaged by whomever did the previous repairs. Total repairs from **** cost my mother another $2,265.08.With this information in hand and the **** service reps printed statement my mother sought compensation from Meineke. At her first attempt a Meineke rep told her that his supervisor would be the one to handle it but that he was currently out of country and somewhere in South America. She waited a couple weeks and called again. This time they said the supervisor was in ********.At this point I asked myself was this person actually travelling the world repairing mufflers from country to county or were the folks at Meineke just shewing away what they thought was a **** elderly lady. She did call one more time a couple weeks later and once again the supervisor was still not available to help her and make good on the damage they clearly caused with faulty repair work. After waiting a couple more weeks we tried one more time by sending an email to the Meineke headquarter who did respond and said they would contact the Hawthorne location but that any compensation would have to come from that specific Meineke. That was two weeks ago and still have heard nothing.This is something I think any self-respecting business would want to make good on and that was before the insult and blatant mistreatment of my mother but apparently they do not seem to be taking this seriously at all.
