Made an appoint for 2pm at ********************************** on 1742 JF K BLVD. Arrived at around 1 pm the service rep stated they would be able to do the alignment. 15 min later he came back and told me that the person who does the alignment was not in. The service rep asked if I would allow him to put the vehicle on a lift (which I found strange) but I had already wasted all this time so I wanted to see how far the deception would go. The service rep and the mechanic came back and stated that all the inner, outer tie rods and the tie rod assembly needed to be replaced at a cost of $2,128 I checked the tie rods and they were in good condition . I then contacted the Meineke at *************************** in ************ and arrived at 3:50pm and the service rep told me that the alignment machine was not working so he called the Meineke on ************************ in ********************* ** spoke to the general manager and he agreed to do the alignment today. I arrived at Meineke in ********************* at around 4:26 pm waited 15 min till the mechanic test drove it for 3 to 5 min then he pulled into the bay where the alignment machine is located 10 minutes later the service representative states the vehicle is completed I pay an additional $15.37 for shop supplies and taxes ( This is in addition to what I had already paid on Groupon for this service) It is now 4:56PM and I drive away. Within 5 min my vehicle alignment seems to be as bad or worst then when I arrived at the Meineke. I go back to the Meineke in ********************* and tell the general manager the vehicle has not been repaired. The service manager calls the mechanic over and the mechanic states that the vehicle did not need a wheel alignment it needs new tires. I was charged for a wheel alignment and the service manager did not tell I needed tires . Basically, the mechanic did not do an alignment and Meineke charged me for it. I am out close to $100 and I wasted 7 hours of my time. I would advise no one to go to the Meinekes operated by this owner.
