Time and again Frank's Auto Repair has shown me that they have integrity, and are only place I'll get car work done! Back in 2018 I owned a ***** and took it to ******* for rear brakes because they gave me a lower price which included changing the drums (the price at Coast ***** was higher despite reusing the old drums). About an hour after I dropped off the car, I got a call from **** the shop owner. He said that the brakes were just dirty and he would service them but couldn't possibly sell me on new ones. I felt so grateful for ****** integrity (and so angry at *****).I planned to give ******* all of my future repair business. But a couple of years later I got a used ***** and heard great things about a ***** specialist in Spring Lake (close to my house). After a series of repairs that left me with bad vibes I was once again back at Franks (issues like my brakes squeaking right after getting them fixed - and then again after they "fixed" the first issue). Does anyone in this industry have integrity? Yes - *******.This winter the ***** exhaust rusted through by the catalytic converter. ******** at ******* spent a lot of time trying to find the part, but given the catalytic converter shortage the best price she could find was $1400. I trusted her, after many past repairs, but money was tight this winter. So I asked if I could shop around to see if I could find a lower parts price online, and she kindly agreed. She even took the time to review the parts I had found - but despite being a car guy I quickly found that this was a rare part and I would have been better off just taking the part she found on day 1 and saving all the time. Franks had my back again.I have other small examples, but these two stick out in my mind.
