              I wouldn't even give them 1 star, but I had to enter something. My mortgage company had a breach. This office had a brief notice on their site and ******** stating they are helping people who were affected.. and hold them responsible for the breach and mishandling of your information, does not state on their long rant that you "must have already been an actual victim of fraud" since I was just notified I reached out to them. They emailed me back, asked for a copy of the letter I received about the breach. I took a picture of the letter and answered the few questions she had, Did you experience any fraud or misuse of your personal information?Has there been any fraudulent attempts to use your personal data for identity theft? Has there been any increase in spam calls, spam letters, spam texts, or spam emails indicating someone *** be trying to use your identity?Please email us back with as much detail as you can about any suspicious activity that *** have occurred since the breach happened.then she emailed me back saying since I did not have any actual fraud on my credit yet, they couldn't help me. but they took my letter removed my name/address of course and posted it online. so they are using people for information not to help people at all. I find that very disturbing. Not cool to take advantage of people when they are going through this. I never gave permission to make my letter public, even with removing my name, the letter was addressed to me stating the that my name, address, along with other info was stolen. even though this *** or *** not be a general notice which I do not know that for sure, it upsets me that they would do that.

              I am sorry that you were unhappy with our firm. I know you are upset that a company lost your data, and we are very sympathetic with you. We are just trying to help. I wanted to clarify two things:1. There was a ** Supreme Court case last year, ******* v Transunion, that requires concrete harm for data breach victims. We wish this was not the case, and we wish we could have helped you although you had not experienced a concrete harm. This Supreme Court ruling is why we couldnt represent you. 2. We did not post your letter. The letter is public record and was posted on multiple public websites as required by law. They were posted online before any letters were mailed out to you or any of the other 2.5 million victims of this same data breach. Once again, I am sorry that you were displeased and I wish you the best in obtaining compensation from the company that lost your data. Richard Console Managing Attorney Console and Associates PC
