Me and my mom had appointment at Ephoria salon. My mom has health problems so it’s not good for her to stay in the saloon with all the fume for a long time. I try to take her just when it’s needed. I made the appointment from last week because we had to go to an event that evening. When they called my hair, it was a different student. This was the second time canceling on me. I asked them why they didn’t call me to let me know so I don’t go there? I told them last time we dyed our hair here it went away after 2 wash. I told them I always ask for permanent for my route why they use shampoo on our hair? I’m a member there and go there often. Last December, I had another argue with her the same way. This was her second time being rude to me. I told her I need to speak with the manager because I want to cancel my membership and I need my refund. She said you need to come back Monday. I told her I don’t want to come back in here again. The receptionist said at this point she denied my Service because she doesn’t like my-tone and doesn’t understand my accent . I told her that’s my accent and I can’t change it. That was so racist of her I felt offended. I don’t remember hair name but she had piercings in her nose. She canceled my appointment And told the student to stop my mom’s service too I asked why my mom she didn’t even say it word and she’s sick. She said you need to leave the salon. I said my mom she doesn’t speak English and she is scared. I don’t want to leave her alone she insist so I left the salon, but she still took my mom to wash her hair in the middle of process. The chemical is already on her head and they knew she’s sick. She was hospitalized a couple months ago. She escalate the situation. I told them please don’t let her leave with wet hair but they still did. Then I opened the door and yelled at them. I was really upset, then we left. My mom is sick at bed now that’s why I decided to file a report. What they did to my mom was not humanely.
