              I received a bill, via mail, for the first time in 2024, past due from 2022. I was working with a person named *** and the concierge from my insurance company. Within a short period of time I received a letter from a collection company. I called Steinberg and the person I spoke to said *** didnt even handle my insurance and it should have been someone else. When I called billing the phone number they gave me was the collection company. I paid the collection company in full immediately. Steinberg billing is incompetent and liable.

              July 2024, I went for a scheduled appointment. Initially when completing my pre-visit paperwork, it asked for a payment of $502. I decided to wait until I got there. When I arrived, I asked for an itemized bill showing how they came to that amount. They gave me a printout showing a charge for services with a negotiated rates showing an expected $30 patient responsibility with a remaining deductible of just over $300. They verbally said I had a credit of $88. I asked why there was a credit on my account. My last visit was September 2023. I spoke with someone from the billing department and they said they are very behind on issuing refunds. She was also unable to explain to me why I was charged the amount charged for the previous visit or for the current visit.
