We have had issues with a dishwasher that was installed improperly causing damage to our countertops as well as the dishwasher itself. The new dishwasher was originally installed and damaged on 4/29. We consistently contacted CRST for follow up which was slowly followed up with. We had contacted CRST at least 8 times before any escalation occurred to progress our claim and start working towards fixing this issue. Between the dates of 4/29 to 5/29, we did not have a working dishwasher due to lack of follow up and fixes to this dishwasher. CRST damage department completed a claim form where we asked for our countertops to be replaced (approximately $1500 for replacement) due to the damage as well as our dishwasher to be replaced with a new one since the installed one was damaged (dishwasher cost was $500 + $400 for taxes, warranty, delivery and cleanup fee etc.) We have been in contact with the damage/claims department and they followed up with us on 6/17 with a very inadequate compensation for the damage caused to our property. With this follow up, they offered a fraction of the price to replace our countertops ($925.20) which in turn will decrease the value of our home if we do not replace the countertops. Since we are new home owners and were not planning on re-doing the kitchen or countertops, we are wanting assistance with getting adequate compensation to have our countertops and dishwasher replaced so it may not affect the value of our home.
