I bought a used washer and installed it myself for i have done others before for yrs... We were having issues with it and had tech. come to check it out.. He mentioned and also the salesman that sold us the washer no charge. I received a bill for $ 100.00 , a destination charge it said. wrote a note that i was not going to pay for i was told by two employees that there was not one.. I mentioned that i'd contact you folks if he continues to charge..He did , with interest this time..Business response

The technician involved was not aware that this washer was a used unit as it was not indicated on the work order. The warranty is handled differently and as such this should have been a covered repair. This was just an oversight, certainly not intentional, we'll correct the account.Initial Complaint

I purchased refrigerator in september 2022. it was delivered in november 2022. it was damaged on delivery. phone call was made was told new doors would be shipped for replacement. I wanted a new refrigerator. i have receipt .2200 dollars I have made numerous calls I only get the same answer its on order.also the door to refridgerator doesnt close, they have not sent a repair man. I am not getting any date and not getting a new fridge I requested, I am not even getting a discount. no one wants to help. I called again March 20 2023, same response its on order. it is now 4 months with no resolution.Business response

Received a call from the business and this was relayed:We delivered refrigerator to the customer and she had dents. We told her that would replace doors. We ordered doors and a new fridge and it took a while to receive it. It is now in and we will be setting up an appt to deliver. We have advised the consumer.Initial Complaint

Issues with Riester’s 1-4-22 3/17/21 Purchased Kitchen Aide Dishwasher with 5 year extended warranty from Riesters online with phone call with Riester’s salesman 4/8/21 Dishwasher installed by Riester’s 7/19/21 Pump replaced by Riester’s 8/5/21 Dishwasher not heating or sanitizing, repairman ordered heater part to replace 8/19/21 and 9/7/21 left messages for repair status update 9/14/21 Riester’s repairman came with another worker with the replacement heater, did not replace turned our water heater up and stated did not need it after, still not heating or sanitizing 12/16/21 Called Riester’s regarding dishwasher not heating/sanitizing and rinse dispenser no longer working, spoke with office worker asking manager to call me about apparent continued problems with the dishwasher (no response to date) 12/20/21 Left message on repair line to schedule repair 12/21/21 Left message on repair line to schedule repair 12/28/21 Left message on repair line to schedule repair 12/29/21 Left message on repair line to schedule repair (no response to date) I want all repairs completed under warranty or return of my purchase amount..Business response

I checked with the service department as to the status of Mr. ******** service call. When the dishwasher was looked at the second time, the tech confirmed with the Kitchen Aid Technical Support Department that the unit needs the control board replaced. Customer was present and informed of what was needed. Control board was ordered and is on back order as there have been none available anywhere. Our main parts supplier told us, but we are never confident in dates with today’s part supply situation, that the board should be coming available Feb 11th. (That maybe false hope) With the number of customers calling for service and scheduling it does not leave much time to call with updates and worse would be an update that we have no control over. We do schedule every call as soon as the needed parts are received and strive to give the best service to our customers.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The issue remains unresolved until the replacement part is installed and we are satisfied that the dishwasher unit remains free of defects.
