I called this dealership regarding a ***** ********* ***** lease for $289, but had to be a current lessee. They have a recorded conversation between me and someone named Marcuss (whom I noticed is mentioned in other BBB complaints) who assured me I don't need to be a current lessee, but my credit will qualify me for this lease. I also made sure there were qualifying vehicles in stock. I made an appointment for 5pm to meet with his manager Adam. We drove the 1/2 hour and were told Adam wasn't even working and had us meet with a salesperson, Chris S. He said the dealership was sent a bunch of these models so they had to "move" them which is why the price was so low. I went through the whole phone conversation with him and said I was assured I qualified for the deal. He verified this information as they listened to the recorded phone call I made to Marcuss. After 2 more visits to his manager, Chris tells us that the price was wrong and that there was a mistake in the ad and on their website and that someone "fat fingered" (his words) the price and the 2 should have been a 3, resulting in a $389 lease. I asked if I was to check the site tomorrow, then it would reflect the lease deal of $389 and he assured me the webmaster would have it corrected by 6am today. Price still has not changed. I was also now told I needed to be a current lessee as well. We were told they would do their best to get to that price, even as far as them suggesting I contact my cousin whose dead father worked for GM and that I could possibly get that family discount saving us $120/month on the lease which seemed unreal. We kept saying that if they would honor the advertised deal and everything we were told on the phone, that we would be signing the paperwork. Even called Chris S. asking if the original deal could be honored since price was the same and said we would get a call from the manager. Still no call. This level of dishonestywent far beyond the bait-and-switch tactics we know all too well.
