On August 2021, I financed my vehicle and purchased a premium warranty from Hoselton ********* for $3,300. This warranty was sold under the pretense of offering comprehensive coverage for my vehicle. However, I have discovered that common mechanical failures, such as AC line leaks, are intentionally excluded from the coverage. This exclusion appears to be a deliberate attempt to void warranty claims associated with larger grouped problems, thereby rendering the warranty ineffective for legitimate repairs. I have also experienced significant issues with a recent repair at Hoselton *********. Despite paying $1,985 for the repairs, my vehicle remains unfixed. Furthermore, I discovered discrepancies in the billing hours and charges listed on the invoice, suggesting inflation and possible fraudulent practices. I have dash cam and ring camera footage that clearly shows the actual time my vehicle was in service, which is significantly less than the 6 hours billed on the invoice. Here are the details from my dash camera footage: - On Monday, June 17th, my vehicle was pulled in at 5:36 PM and pulled out at 5:51 PM, totaling 15 minutes. - The vehicle remained unserviced from 5:51 PM on Monday, June 17th, until Wednesday, June 19th, at 9:04 AM. - On Wednesday, June 19th, a technician unplugged the vehicle at 9:04 AM, and I received a text at 12:04 PM that the vehicle was done, totaling 3 hours. I attempted to resolve these issues with Hoselton *********. I spoke with Jon, the service manager, on June 20th, 2024, following an email detailing my concerns. Despite discussing the lack of work completed and the inflated billing, Jon refused to address my concerns, citing a flat rate fee without explaining the reference to 6 hours on the work order or the visual evidence of the actual service duration.
