I contacted my *************************************** bowling alley to ask questions regarding prices and a lane reservation for 8 people. It apparently went to some out of state reservation line. Had no idea. Thought I was talking to someone at the facility. She said its $8 a game or $29 something for unlimited 2 hour play, which would be a good deal if we played 3 games. Then tried to tell me booze was $8 each and I should get the drink package, which Im glad I didnt do because they had $3 beer. Anyway, we ended up having a party of 11. No reservation for the 3 others but they charged the same price, when games on Thursday nights are really $4. We only played 2 games and a few more plays on the 1st lane, which I understand the price is more for reservations but I wasnt given correct information. Had I known it was $4 I most likely would have opted out on the reservation. I called the ** of the facility to request a refund of some sort and he said he couldnt. He offered free shoes for a group of 10, and wouldnt listen to the rest of what I was trying to say, but I have no clue when I can get a group of 10 together anytime soon. I had initially called this phone number and was advised Managers were in a meeting and would call me back. No call. Surprise. So we paid $310 for 11 people when it could have been 1/2 that amount. They could have charged the $4 a game for the 3 people not on the initial reservation, but no. More shade thrown if you ask me. Lied about bowling prices and drink prices to try and make a sale. You should know the summer sale prices before trying to be selling reservations. Id just like my $84 back for the 3 not on the reservation (I was advised no when asked for the $4 price), or a discount on the reservations for being lied too about pricing then Id be happy. Not shoe rentals for who knows when Ill be back bowling. This is vile business practices and you should be ashamed.Sincerely, Upset and felt taken advantage of.Review from Austin M

Berks lanes in *************** ************ is a great bowling alley. they used to be independently owned and operated. The people are great however ever since they were bought by Bowlero in 2021. they have been price gouging otherwise everything else is good besides bowling. There is a restaurant arcade and a pro shop plus on the website they are not transparent about their prices. Every independent bowling alley website in my area shows their prices online but Bowlero does not.Bowlero Corp. Response

I booked a party for my business three weeks in advance. I ended up needing to cancel the event because no one could attend. I received an email from Bowlero saying I could make changes to my reservation up to 72hrs before the date of the event. I reached out to Bowlero via email 5 days before my event and said I wanted to cancel the event. I was told I could not do so based on their "terms and conditions". In the terms and conditions, it states that you must cancel 30 days before the event. My event was not booked 30 days in advance in the first place. I was told I could reschedule the event within the month of December. Its December the busiest month of the year. I cant reschedule. I just wanted a refund. I was told "sorry that's our policy. I am now out $1500.00. Totally ridiculous. It was a bowling reservation. Not an elaborate wedding or something. I am in shock that a big company like this would treat a customer so poorly. Cancelling a bowling reservation 5 days in advance should not have been a big deal. Instead, they choose to take advantage of the fine print and keep all my money. I would not send anyone to this business to spend their hard earned money. Total rip off!Review from Karen J

THIS DUDE AT THE GOKARTS WAS SO RUDE. there was 7 of us. And they told us at the beginning it was fine and we could all go. Then this dude comes running up saying half of us need to get out because its only 6 people now apparently. And he was the one who told us 7. Not only did he yell at us multiple times, but he gave one group almost 7 minutes, and the other around 3 minutes. I paid $40 for my friends and I to do this and it is 100% not worth it for this kind of service. Idk what stick is up this dudes ***, but he needs a reality check.Bowlero Corp. Response

Horrible customer service! Attempted to call the location on ******************* in *******, ** three times this evening to check lane availability and each call went to voicemail. I get that a venue may be busy on weekends, however I find ignoring customers phone call ms inexcusable. I work in customer service and when we are busy, we are trained to answer calls, excusing ourselves from in-person customers for the minute it will take to speak to the caller, and inform the caller, politely, that we will take their name and number and call them back as soon as we can. Then we do that thing! NO excuse for lack of service and ignoring customers. Train your staff. We went to a different brand to bowl tonight.Review from Jake W

My fianc and I have a cleaning business, we were contracted through Bowlero to clean one of their locations. We were also promised another location, but they went back on their word. We worked 7 days a week. After going two months WITHOUT pay, and reaching out to the ** and getting no response, we went to his boss and still received no response, and after going to higher-*** within the company to figure out what was going on with our pay for work already completed, we were let go. Horrible business practices.Review from Lisa D

Pigs get slaughtered, Bowlero!!! Your slimy tactics and outrageous prices will be your downfall. Just paid $240 for one lane 4 bowlers and 1.5 hours. I would have refused to pay that and left but didn't want to disappoint the kids. Arcade games at $10 per game, mandatory $15/person food and drink fee (even if you can't eat their food). I made the mistake of patronizing this business once, but will NEVER do it again. If everyone else would do the same, these greedy corporations wouldn't survive.Review from Taylor W

Bowlero has ruined bowling. At the Bowlero in ********* ** it costs $265 to book 1 lane for an hour for 2 bowlers. They automatically charge $80 for a food and beverage fee up front. Its unaffordable and on top of that the staff is always extremely rude. I was in the local bowling league for 3 years and bowled every weekend. Bowlero has ruined that.Bowlero Corp. Response

Thank you for reaching out ******. The food credit is added to any lane reservations scheduled during our Prime Time slots (i.e. - Fridays after 5 PM and all day on Saturdays). The amount is given to the guests in the form of a gift card when they check in. The credited amount may then be spent during that visit or saved for a future visit. Any time slots that are considered Prime Time are labeled in the system when making the reservation online and additional information is displayed on the bottom of the screen providing more details. If you would like to bowl without being charged the food credit, please select a reservation outside of the Prime Time slots for the center. The food and beverage credit also does not apply to our walk-in guests who bowl without a reservation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our ************* Team at *************************************** and we will be happy to assist you.Review from Sara B

Totally unacceptable customer service today. I waited at the prize area with my kids for almost 30 minutes while the staff was was sending someone over to open the gate. There was only one person assigned to run laser tag and run the prize redemption area. Staff acted like it was my problem and I would just have to wait. Since we spent over $100 on points, it seems that Bowlero is more than willing to take our dollars but feels no need yo provide any type of customer service. How are you running an arcade without staffing your prize area? This is totally unacceptable and we will never be back.Bowlero Corp. Response
