            Pattern of Complaint

            On October 4, October 17, and October 31, 2022, BBB attempted to contact Comfort Ortho Wear regarding pattern of serious complaints. BBB received complaints alleging:

            We find that a pattern of complaints exists concerning customers having difficulty returning defective merchandise and getting a response to their complaints.

            We have also identified a pattern in your responses to complaints. You have suggested to your customers instead of returning your defective shoes, maybe the customer should consider donating the shoes to someone in need. The business failed to respond to all of the complaints through BBB’s complaint process.

            BBB notified Comfort Ortho Wear about the pattern of complaints and asked the business to voluntarily cooperate in eliminating the pattern by providing a written response outlining the specific steps it would implement in order to avoid similar complaints in the future.

            As of November 10, 2022, Comfort Ortho Wear has not responded regarding the pattern of complaints or BBB's requests for information. BBB has concerns about business’ practices and urges consumers to use caution based on their complaint activity and lack of responsiveness.
