********************* and his crew are the best plumbing company around. Not only are they neat, courteous and respectful, but the quality of their work and dependability are second to none! If I could leave more than a 5 Star rating I would! I encourage anyone who may need a plumber to call *** in your time of need. Does not stand by the products they install and charged $1,000 for a faulty valve on a water heater they installed a year ago which is warranted by the manufacturer, and this is after my son paid them over 40k for work in the house. Also they have 3 different prices, cash, check(which is ***** more even though it is the same as cash, and credit card with a 12% markup from the cash price My son had his 1 year old water heater c*** out that was installed by this company, and had no hot water for 2 days. Called this company and was told it would be $265 service call. Came the next day at 3pm and found the gas valve on the water heater went bad, this is the box on the front that has the blinking lights and pilot lighting functions. Tech who was good, took the part off in 10 minutes, left for an hour and came back and installed it for another 15 minutes. Then presented a bill for parts, $385.00, 2 hours labor for $470(tech was in the home 30 minutes) and the following-$855 cash, $928 check or $960 credit card. My daughter in law was shocked at the charge and we asked the tech why it is not a service call, and he said the plumbing company only warranties the unit for 1 year. She paid and was hysterical after the tech left as not only have, they paid a lot of money for work they did which in fact , they gave my daughter in law many days of crying as they refused to do what was asked in the new shower and had my son by parts so they can install it. They sent two different crews who did not know what was supposed to be done. Bottom line is the company should stand behind the product they installed and went bad, not charge a customer more than the water heater itself cost for a 1 year old unit. Stay away as they do not care and feel they are entitled to charge whatever they want. Owner told me, "that's the way it is, or you could have waited 6 days for a replacement part" and to call the manufacturer and place a claim if you want. I got charged a 271% markup on a $120 part and got the run around when I tried to understand the pricing despite asking them prior to the service call how they charged. The excuse for the high price was changed several times from fixed rate to couriers to warranty etc neither of which seemed reasonable as I specifically said it wasn't a rush job.Unfortunately I wasn't able to check the part's price before the technician left.I felt like it was pure price gouging and the customer service afterwards was terrible.Review from Anthony M

Made an appointment to receive an estimate for a conversion. Was told I would receive a call the day before to confirm and then morning of when tech was on there way. Received no phone calls. I Called at the time of the appointment only to be told they will call me back. Received a text message if they could come in the afternoon. I texted back what time no reply. I followed up with a call to be put on hold and then they dropped the call. They texted me back the second they dropped the call. i agreed to the appointment to be changed. An hour before the appointment they texted me an emergency came up which ive read happens on previous peoples experiences and that they will becoming monday instead in the afternoon. I replied back im not available that day and would like to set it up for another day. Have not heard back. Cannot rate their work but can rate their customer service / time management which is incompetent.Review from Zach K

I'm the Facilities Manager at a non profit art school 501c3 in ************. The first time I called ************************* Plumbing was over a dozen years ago in a crisis situation when National Grid turned off our gas and we needed help in an emergency. *** and his team came to saved ** in the middle of the night. I will never forget it. It was about 15 degrees outside in December and his entire crew came to the rescue. You get nothing but professionalism with the ******* team. Now a dozen years later we still call him with any plumbing and heating issue we face. Just today we had his team come and install a new Elkay water fountain that we had donated to our school. All of his employees are friendly, knowledgeable and polite. If *** isn't personally on the job you better believe he's sending nothing but the best team. I really feel *** cares about my ************* always taken care of us. If he can't help us, he refers us to another specialized company who can tackle the job and you don't find organizations that operate like that everyday. ******* Plumbing is the most professional business Ive ever used. *** the owner goes over everything with you so you understand whats going to happen that means a lot and his workers are very professional and hard working. We contracted Sampson Plumbing and Heating for a new boiler and water heater, and repair of a slow (drip-like) leak in the kitchen sink plumbing.First, let us note that the quality of the work is first-rate. One- anyone, for that matter- could see immediately the workmanship: copper tubing at right angles, copper tubing running perfectly straight along the walls, everything neat and spotless clean. Second, and this is equally important, the workers ******* ****** **** and ****) were exceedingly polite. Some of you might have had an experience as we have had in which we hired a tradesman, whereupon he acted as if he was doing us the favour or all favours by coming to our house. Such was not the case with ******* ***. Their workers were as gracious for choosing them, their company, as we were for the work they did.Lastly, a compliment must be directed to the receptionist/secretary who receives their calls. She is as pleasant as a spring morning and immediately creates a good impression of the company.Thank you, Sampson Plumbing and Heating, for the work you did at our home. Oh, and a Merry Christmas to you!
