      I have lost my business due to fire damage. I have been dealing With Coterie Insurance since September. Its almost been 6 months i still have not received no payments. I have left several message and they neglect to call back and update me on my claim. I find this company so unprofessional how they handle there business. I also send out email and no response neither, this company is the worst to deal with.

      We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the feedback provided by our customer. As of 2/20/2024, we spoke directly with the customer and agreed to a claim settlement. Payment has been requested and our customer will receive their settlement shortly. While speaking with the customer, we explained the timeline of the claim and how we came to settle on the resolution of the claim. We had an open dialogue and apologized for any confusion and communication delays. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and fair claim resolution to all of our insureds.

      I reported a claim with this company and its been two months now and my case is still open after providing everything they requested with two police reports. Only communication I have is they email after multiple requests for a phone call and calling tkem only to be prompted by the automated recording to leave a message and never get a returned call. My emails go without showing any response. Absolutely the most unprofessional company Ive ever dealt with.

      Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond to your concerns. Policy details: Businessowners Policy effective dates are: 3/1/2023-3/1/2024. The Insurance carrier is *********, and the policy state is *******. Coterie received notice of claim on 5/12/2023, with a date of loss on 5/8/2023. Upon receipt of the new claim notification, the claim was assigned to an adjuster. On 5/12/2023, a claims adjuster reached out to review the claim and all submitted documentation. To adjudicate the claim, we needed a police report supplement, as the original police report did not include your name and claimed stolen property items. This information was requested on 5/31, 6/13, and 6/23. On the dates we requested the supplemental police report, your claims adjuster also reached out to you via email and phone to inform you of claim status. On 7/3/23, your adjuster reached out via email to acknowledge receipt of the supplemental police report. On 7/5/23, your adjuster reached out via email and phone successfully to discuss the claim status and resolve the claim. We appreciate your business and patience as we resolved the claim.
