Date of main service Feb 24th. Date of payment Mar 3rd. Still waiting on full job completion. Guy was very difficult to work with and communicate with. Mostly, bc he would not share all the details and wasn't clear about what his job entails, I suppose. - issues: - never asked about 200 AMP and lied about it being illegal later, but even indicating that he didn't charge me less. No other electrician's said a 200 AMP wouldn't fit. - Major scheduling issues. It took 2 months from first contact to get the main part of the service done. I was never told that this would be longer than a day or two process. There has been 5 visits to my house from various people, with all requiring power to be shut off, even when told it wouldn't have to be. We have 2 people in the household who work from home. This is and was a problem. I had to propel the project and keep it moving or we may not have been finished until July. I am still waiting for completion. - On the phone, day 1 he said they could get the job done quicky, which is a main reason for going with this company. - Said they could do it on the weekend, it was hard enough to get it done at all. - Does not accept feedback well. Immediately throws insults and jabs out. Insulting my knowledge and job he knows nothing about. Feels harassing at some point. - Told me day before payment was due that they only accept cash or check. And blamed me for not asking. - Told me I would receive a receipt of payment shortly. (This was on the day I paid) (He knew and agreed that I needed a receipt for home warranty). It took until today when I mentioned the BBB that I got a receipt. - Forgot surge suppressor (and the 200AMP) that we previously spoke about, bc he didn't write anything down. - Never "analyzed" Ring Doorbell. I finally got someone else to fix it. - Mostly it is disrespect and not getting anything done in a timely and reasonable manner. I shouldn't have to work so hard for someone else to do their job correctly.Business response

The following client requested new electric service and was given multiple dates for installation. She had given me a date as late as 3/10/2023 for possible scheduling. Installation was completed in one day, she decided to add a surge suppressor during installation which had to be ordered. After notifying client of IBI inspector walking through for inspection, client couldn’t believe she had to deal with all this. I replied it is part of the process. Utility company was informed to work with client on outage day due to the client works from home. Client was not happy that we do not accept credit cards and wanted to know why we do not. She has not communicated these harsh feelings until recent text messages and wishes response that day. She said “ that I do not do my job well” after 33 years in the trade. Client kept responding that my texts were rude, yet kept responding with her own insults as well. I explained the process multiple time but client could not get passed being inconvenienced.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.
- the company is being dishonest. I was patient up front. We never officially agreed on March 10th, but of course he's ignoring all of his faults. I'm not sure how he's continuing to miss the point. March 10th should have never happened, and the job should have been completed in 1 day. What was the purpose of a walk through and estimate, if he didn't even use it to properly prepare for the service?- yes, I did mention he isn't good at his job. He hasn't been. Time in trade doesn't equate quality.
- never even addressed the receipt, nor lying about AMP, etc...
- still needs to complete the service, but asking me what needs to be done? Shouldnt he know? This makes me very uncomfortable.
- 95% of our communication has been over text. I can provide a full report of how many times I asked him about scheduling and receipts, etc.
- Any feedback I have given him or expressed by frustrations with how things were going have been met with rude defensive comments. He is supposed to be the professional in this situation. I shouldn't have even had to be in the position to schedule the service myself, remind him of what we agreed on, etc... this is why I decided to turn to BBB.

All I had referred to is she gave me 3-10 as a possible date. I reached out to the client to see what has not been completed and she didn’t remember what **** had told her. The work was completed in one day, and an IBI inspection was another day. I am willing to finish whatever it is, would like the harassment to stop.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.I don't understand why I need to be the one to tell him how to do his job. If I need to take this to court I certainly can get another electrician out here to finish the job. The job was never done "day one", clearly he's been here several times. I was initially told it would be all done in one day... another lie. The job is not complete. Perhaps call **** and see what needs to be done? I can look at it and easily see it's incomplete.
I am unsure what harassment he is referring to. I feel insulted by multiple interactions with this guy. Apparently, harassment according to him is when someone gives him feedback about his work that he doesn't like. All I was asking for the job to be done correctly and not impact the residents work from home jobs. It shouldn't take 4 months for this type of "one day" job to get completed. I contacted him mid-Dec and I'm still waiting for the job to finish up.

Hello,
I have contacted **** energy. The person who was here is off this week and will return my call once they return. The person I spoke to instead said, "any decent electrician would know they need to clean up the house and remove front the front facing wires".
Electric Worxx decided I should get the wires all moved over to the side of the house bc it would look better. I will update once I hear back from the person who was actually here but wanted to make sure to send something by the requested deadline. Pictures are provided. Thanks.

Thanks for following up. I couldn't figure out how to respond again. They reported that Electric Worxx needs to clean up the area (I already picked up the wires and such) and as previously stated detach and clear up the front facing wires, AKA finish the job. At this point I do not feel comfortable having them back at my home. And I requested the job be completed by April 15th which it is well after that time.Customer response
