Absolutely horrible experience with Brian. My father passed early June of this year and Brian had been dealing with him for a couple of years for lawn services. After his passing, Brian showed up to my parents house on June 12th and told my mother and I directly that my father had paid for a cut that he hadn’t performed yet because we had a family member come and cut the lawn since it hadn’t been done in quite some time. He informed us that he OWED US at least 1 to 2 cuts because my dad had paid him cash and also a check before he passed. I took his number and became the point person to organize when those were to be done. He texted me that same day saying he’d send a message with the “cut standing” and pricing and I said sounds good. He got back to me on July 3rd, almost a month later only to tell me that he didn’t owe any services and he had performed 4 cuts that year. I reminded him of what he said to my mother and I about being prepaid and asked for proof of payments, dates of those cuts and invoices for those services. He showed no proof but just a text telling me the days he said he did them. He said he did a lawn cutting the week before my family had someone else come and cut the grass which is false because the lawn was incredibly overgrown. I provided my email for him to send me the information I had requested only for him to tell me to check my deceased father’s phone for the things I was asking for which I am unable to do. When I told him I would write a complaint he said “to be honest, that says more about the writer than probably the subject written.” He is a liar and I’m absolutely disgusted with how he went back on his word and provided no proof of his claims. It’s very clear that since he wouldn’t provide proof that he took advantage of my family. But because we weren’t the direct contact for him he wanted to act like we were clueless. He is rude and I am very happy with the fact that my family will no longer pay this man for substandard work.
