    SAID CHECKING AND TOPPING FLUIDS NOT A COMMON BUSINESS PRACTICE FOR THEM0 stars.DO NOT TRUST WORK ETHIC. *****S WORDS: "CHECKING FLUIDS IS NOT ROUTINE FOR US IT SHOULD BE BUT WE DON'T ALWAYS DO IT.. IT'S NOT ALWAYS NEEDED...AFTER A TUNE UP "...._Yeah those words actually came out of his mouth. This is not a rant but a warning to all women and mother's out there.. I have been going to them since July and everything was good till I actually had issues. Then they would always send me home for the same issue to happen 5 minutes later and leave me stranded. Not Once, not twice, but THREE times. I know I should of learned my ******* I had to sell my dodge 80 miles away cause I couldn't afford to get home cause they told me test drive was awesome when in reality exactly what I said was wrong was indeed wrong. Now on to this certain experience a week ago. I scheduled an oil change and tune up my sticker said I was **** miles over one. Something they did or didn't do allowed oil to slowly leak until I almost ran out. I checked the fluids right after because I had also requested an oil change since I was **** miles over since my last one (that they did.) I saw nothing wrong. When it started to run rough 3 days later I called and brought it back. The next day I was told it wasn't throwing a code and nothing was wrong. So I made him test drive it with me. Within 20 seconds the car was trying to turn off. About 2 minutes later my oil can blinked and I told the mechanic. He said "oh yeah it does kind of feel like you're running out of oil." Then proceeds to tell me he didn't check any of my fluids. No code no problem with this place. When I brought it to the owner she said I never got an oil change but somehow had clean oil and filter. There was also no oil change on my receipt. Which made me worry about what exactly they were trying to hide. I told them I have 2 kids under 3 I'm running around I can't afford for them to get hurt in a crash. They filled my oil with THREE QUARTS. I gave them 1 hour and 30 minutes to test drive until I came back. I came back and he was working on other cars that weren't there before mine and said he hadn't had a chance to drive it. He then tells me he may of saw a leak by my valve cover, and if oil is leaking, its leaking from there.. so a mechanic looked at it for me the ***** were loose, They were so loose the whole thing could move from side to side.HERE IS THE KICKER ....when I waited a week for us all to calm down I noticed my car is messing up AGAIN. So I call to make sure what was done in a tune up... was ACTUALLY done to my vehicle. So then the other owner decided to tell me I never got an oil change as well. I tell him another mechanic confirmed I did. AS WELL AS ON OUR TEST DRIVE HIS OWN MECHANIC CONFIRMED HE DID. THE ***** tells me the sticker THEY GAVE ME in September for my oil change must be wrong because his computer says **** caused he used synthetic not the **** the sticker says. They don't know exactly what was done to my car is the issue. The mechanic proceeded to tell me that day of test drive that he is the only mechanic there, he is overworked and has to cut corners. In my opinion THEY ALLOW HIM TO GO AGAINST EVERYTHING A MECHANIC STANDS FOR TO BE GREEDY AND GET AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE IN A DAY. I have called many mechanics since then trying to find one I can trust. When I tell them about what happened at Village Auto Care they tell me "yeah not the first time I've heard that, I'm not sure how they are in business" wish I would of called around before trusting these parasites.
