I recently had an unpleasant experience while returning to the store. The item was labeled incorrectly and appeared to have deteriorated in quality due to being on the shelf for an extended period of time. When I brought this to the attention of the ******** she said we could just swap it out being of the same price. I understand the store has security cameras that would corroborate my account of events along with the actual receipt. All I wanted was to exchange the product, which did not meet the expected standard of quality. Instead of addressing the legitimate issues I raised about the condition and labeling of the item, **** treated me in an unwelcoming manner and called the police. For a $25 purchase, the experience was certainly not worth all of the unfounded accusations and difficulty. Going forward, this is a a review of what you’ll be looking forward to upon entering this company that is unable or unwilling to back the quality of their products or admit mistakes were made. Customer service and ensuring accurate product information should be top priorities, especially for a company hoping to keep repeat business. I simply wanted a respectful resolution and to feel valued as a customer. No customer should have to endure unprofessional, dismissive or confrontational treatment when making a purchase/ exchange. If these companies wish to remain in business, they must make meaningful changes to properly train and supervise staff on fair, compassionate customer interactions. Customers should not have to accept or make allowances for poor service just to access products from these companies. Our time and money deserve better treatment.
