I needed major work done on my garage framing structure and door. I reviewed the **** ** ******** Certified Contractors Listing, the Better Business Bureau, and talked with family and friends. I submitted request for estimates to 5 companies that I thought would be responsive to my proposal requirements. Of the 5 companies contacted two were nonresponsive and of the remaining three companies Daugherty Construction was the most responsive by far! No surprises. I think the price was a little higher when compared to other good construction companies, perhaps trending to the high end, but you get what you pay for. From Jeannine ******** office personnel to Frank ***** the estimator, and the crew, my experience was extremely pleasant and hassle-free. They scheduled my job to meet my September 1 timeframe, and they did. Daugherty does not scrimp on the number of crew members. The crew was punctual, extremely friendly and very well run. There were at least 4 people working at any given time. The foreman was highly experienced and competent. The workmanship was superb and of the highest quality and lightning fast. In six hours, the work was done including all new framing, steel door/locks replacement, and siding replaced. Everyone I spoke to was pleasant, professional and willing to answer questions. When the job was completed, my property and garage were spotless. I intend to include Daugherty Construction for all my future construction and remodeling needs that I might need. Since the work was completed, I have received multiple compliments from family and friends that saw the original damage! Very Highly Recommend!!!
