      My insurance company recommended **** Montrose ***************** I never received an update on my vehicle within two weeks, I had to call them. Some parts were on back order.my vehicle sat outside for three months without being started . When I finally picked my vehicle up three months later. I drove it less than five miles , the *** censor and Emissions system light came on and the vehicle idled while in park. I was asked to bring it back , so they could troubleshoot. The collision center was unable to fix the vehicle, they sent it to ************. Sierra ****** ran test and sent a video a censor needed to be replaced, my rotors and break pads. The video mentioned that this was likely from sitting in outdoor elements for a period of time . Montrose Ford cover the cost of the censor replacement.I spoke with the director ***, he was condescending, lack empathy, and was rude. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I was left with a bill from Acura for $1400 .*** spoke with the service technician from Acura who confirmed that this was likely because the vehicle sat . I was responsible for not only the bill , but transportation to pick my vehicle up from the location they sent my vehicle to. I had just replaced my rotors in Oct and breaks in January.

      BUYER BEWARE. I was in the market for an Expedition. They had several on their lot, all XLs with better than trim-line features. Due to the variety of features this collection of expeditions were priced slightly differently ranging from $56000 to 62,000. I looked at one particular VIN online (had leather, heated seats, etc.). Price listed on the website was $58715 and showed pictures of the exact vehicle I wanted and test drove. When I put together an offer for that vehicle, they came back and said, "whoa the price is $61715. The price you observe is for the one without leather." Though they had another listing for that price and a different VIN, they claimed (now that I was ready to purchase) it was for the vehicle I wanted -- classic "Bait and switch." Disgraceful, dishonest and arguably illegal.

      I would like to express my buying experience at Montrose Ford. I buy on the A plan, and their finance person wanted to upsell me various products for my vehicle and Montrose Ford was "doing me a favor by selling a vehicle $7000 less than invoice). She also said I could not use my credit union or my bank, (2% lower than their rate) I had to use their financing (three banks to choose from) with a four month minimum of payments. I called ********** and there is no prepayment penalty (so the four month minimum is BS). I never received a Bill of Sale until four days later, the document had a line item for Resistall $1495 that wan never discussed. I will never do business again with Montrose Ford. They need to change their slogan to "You got ****** by Montrose"

      I would like to express my extreme disappointment in how Montrose Ford handled my Bronco order. After patiently waiting 20 months from the initial reservation for my vehicle to come in and then have Montrose Ford require that I pay for $1500 worth of vehicle protection at the last moment is unfair and unjust. I did not order this option at the time of vehicle ordering and it is not on the final sticker from **** either. Therefore, I should not be expected or required to purchase this option. As my hard top Bronco is in high demand, Montrose Ford was very purposeful and strategic in sabotaging my order so they could outfit my ordered vehicle with additional options and sell at a higher sticker price (as admitted by the salesperson).I confirmed with two other dealerships in the area that this practice is not a thing and they would never require this of their customers. They both seemed quite embarrassed that another **** dealership in the area would behave this way or require this option.I will more than likely still place an order for a Bronco when ordering opens in a couple of months for the 2023 models. I will pay a bit more now, but at least I will be purchasing from a dealership that I can trust and is interested in a longer-term relationship than making a quick buck now. I am a patient person. I already waited 20 months. I can wait four to five more.
