My wife just called today (1/6/22) about getting my sons in to get their teeth checked and some fillings done. We didn't have insurance you accepted, so I went out to find insurance so I can get my kids in. I signed up with a plan through Delta Dental because YOUR employee, YOUR website and Delta's website says you accept Delta. My wife calls back to set up an appointment and we're told that insurance is only accepted for "treatment" and now we are back in the situation we were in before calling you but with a $140/month ****. Your employee KNEW we didn't have the correct insurance AND the procedures we needed to get done but they were clearly uneducated in telling us that Delta was accepted because why would they tell us you accepted Delta but leave out the part where it's treatment only? Have you ever tried taking a child to a dentist? How about taking them to one appointment only to tell them you have to bring them a whole new dentist to get what needs to be done? Some advice for you would be, when telling potential customers that you accept certain insurances, you need to also be telling the stipulations that go with those companies especially since Delta doesn't explicitly state what they cover per office. I would also advise you change your website as well to state that Delta isn't 100% accepted. Another medical professional with more interest in their financial benefits rather than their patients' health.
