      When I first moved here, it was great! Rent was $529 mo. One year went by and they didn't force me to resign a lease and rent held @529 for about half the year. It was at that time that I was informed that my rent would increase to $554 which was fine but then 6 mo after that they raised it to $604 and now 6 mo after that, it was SUPPOSED to be $723 but TWO WEEKS LATER, I was sent a notice that it was $752... That's a hell of an increase for a single bedroom apt that is NOT a luxury apt in any stretch of the imagination. I was in the process of moving out and was told that the place should be ready at the start of the following mo. but I soon found out that the new location was not ready just yet and to see about the following week so I was forced to extend my stay. I witheld paying any rent for that extended week in the assumption that I would be actually moving but I found that the representative from the new place apparently didn't know what she was talking about and I found out that the place wasn't ready and they they don't HAVE a move in date. I ended up being forced to ask United if I could extend my stay. The representative agreed and I asked how much I owed. She looked it up and said $752. I paid that and then a couple weeks later, I get a notice claiming that I had late fees for the previous month after SHE told me it would be $752. I was also charged late fees for paying $723 for the following mo. which is what I was ORIGINALLY told the increase would be for a total of $119. I called back to speak to the rep on that day and the following day and she never returned my calls until I called back a third time the following week. I went over all of what I explained above and she acts as though I should have EXPECTED the late fees after she told me $752 when I first asked for my extension and how much I owed and now because of HER lollygagging in returning my calls, the late fees have extended to $174...
