              I applied for financial assistance for my medical bill. I was told I make too much money to receive assistance. I asked them to recalculate my income and was still told I made too much income. I did not gross more than the maximum amount allowed to receive at least 80% discount 12 months prior to my medical visit. I made less than the maximum amount allowed to get some financial assistance. I don’t think it is fair that I am being told I earned too much money when I did not earn over the maximum amount allowed 12 months prior to my visit. I was told my overtime made me over the income limit. However, I calculated my income 12 months prior including my overtime and I made less than the maximum allowed. It is very expensive going to doctors and my insurance does not cover much. I can’t afford the high medical bill. The application states to calculate the income 12 months prior to the visit.
