Please run, don’t walk from this used car lot! I bought a 2007 Kia Sportage on March 17, 2023 from Brandon, the owner. The very 1st thing I said to him was that I needed a safe car for my daughter, 3 grandchildren. He assured me Kia was safe, said he almost kept it for himself. I drove Kia for a while, got out, checked lights, turn signals. I noticed something seemed wrong with brakes. He said guys they used must not have bled the new brakes. I bought the car, drove my daughter up there to get car, she drove car, said there was a problem with brakes. I told her what Brandon said. She had brakes bled. Still was acting up. For about a month almost we avoided driving it, until I had money to take to a garage to have them check it out. On a rare occasion of driving it, the left axle, control arm, left lower ball joint broke on highway at 8 pm. with my daughter, 3 grandchildren in it. Had it fixed, $750.18. I didn’t contact Brandon, it’s a used car, figured it was my problem. A month later, my son went to put a sway bar on, discovered body, not subframe, was dangerously rusted. I contacted Brandon, said he’d make it right. My car has been at his dealership since May 29th. He is not calling me back. I’ve been up there, he’s never there. His brother Eric asked us to give him a week, that was 3 weeks ago. They asked me to be patient. I only called once a week. I am disabled, had to borrow money to get another car for my daughter. We were sharing a car. I started filling out a peaceful protest petition, but, you have to keep walking while protesting, which I unfortunately cannot do. I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else. Don’t be fooled by Brandon, like I was. He’s very nice until something goes wrong.

Five star automotive is the worst possible place to get a car from. I got a 2006 jeep Grand Cherokee and what didn't this jeep have wrong with it? Everything started out good then a couple days went by and it's horrible. I called and tried to get some help and they won't get back with me. I ended up having to sell it to try and get something else because it was far from safe to drive my kids around in.

We were looking for a particular vehicle and we stopped at five star and ran into James. We explained our situation and he said he actually had what we were looking for coming into his lot in 1-2 weeks. He took our number and said he would call us when he got it in. He actually did call us and it worked out better than expected. James went above and beyond when it comes to customer service and was totally honest and upfront with us. James went out of his way to meet with us so we could test drive the vehicle even when he was going through a very difficult time himself. He was very professional and very sincere with us. He could have cancelled our appointment to take care of his own situation, but still met with us so we could see the vehicle. We normally don't leave feedback but wanted to make sure to say it was the best experience we have had with buying a vehicle. We really recommend dealing with five star and especially James. You will not regret it and would definitely purchase from them again due to the spectacular customer service we received, and we LOVE the new vehicle we purchased!!!
