    We had Stanley Steemer out to clean our tile and grout throughout our house. We are not happy with the results because the grout does not look like it had been cleaned in most areas. We were told there were stains that couldn't be removed. My husband was told it would look better once it dried. It did not look better at all. If they knew there were stains they could not remove, they should have stopped to the job completely if they could not clean the floor like we were told. Once during the cleaning, they asked if we wanted the colored grout, but said the floors should look ok except a few stains so my husband declined. I contacted them and they sent someone out to reevaluate what had been done. When I received a response to the follow up visit, it was a condescending tone saying it was not their fault and was offered the color seal process, but we would have to pay for it. After spending almost $400, I wasted money on a service I could have completed myself. Why should we pay full price for another service when we are not happy with the first one?

    Like all of our tile and grout cleaning we do a full inspection and with that inspection we offer our recommendations, but we cannot predict what grout looks like until we clean. This particular job on the size of it usually would take a little under an hour. Our crew was on location cleaning for over two hours. Had her husband very involved with the job and how things were going. Excessive dirt and stains and we recommend color seal to do correctly. He refused to spend the extra money for color seal. He wanted what his wife requested because he stated he is not going to cross her. She was unhappy with stains and called, we sent crew back out immediately to review with her and still offered color seal to her. She said the only way she will do it is if we do it for free. We cannot do this the product is very expensive and very time consuming. She said she understood and sent crew on way. We will still be more then happy to color seal at the contracted price. This is not our fault our crew did everything we could at the time.

    First of all, my husband did not say he wont cross me. That is a flat out lie. Second of all, I did not ask for anything for free. I have all messages between us and I did not once use the word free. When they stopped back over, they took pictures and said they would have you follow up with me on pricing. They left after they told me this. I did not send them on their way. Again, if you could not clean the the grout properly, you should have stopped cleaning. There are spots we were able to get cleaner after you left. We are not happy with the results and the way we have been talked to and the lies you are saying. Its a terrible way to run a business when you have to resort to making up things people supposedly said instead of trying to fix the issue.
