I wish to complain regarding Coy's
Plumbing as he came to my house on February 2, 2022 to fix my handicapped
jetted tub. There seemed to be a small chrome plug that had fallen behind the
tub. To my knowledge, he found the plug, but it would not go back in. Coy
pulled the tub apart by taking up the baseboard and looking behind the tub. He
told me I needed a new plug which was about the size of dime. He advised that
he needed to take one of the plugs to match the one I needed for repair. For
some reason, he took two plugs and said he would get back with me. I called and
texted and called trying to find out the status, which was in the last of
February and the first of March. On March 2, Coy texted me and told me he was
in class and could not find the plug anywhere. He told me he would come back
out and fix the panels, put plugs back and the baseboard back. I have tried
multiple times to call and text to get my tub back the way it was when he came.
I have called his personal cell and texted his personal cell with no answer. I
called the answering service multiple times and asked them why I could not
receive a call and she told me that Coy had burner phones and they might be
turned off. I don't know if this is true or not, but I cannot get a call back.
I began to try to get the tub pulled out and get a new one but the cost is
astronomical, almost $8000. I need the tub fixed. All the companies that have
bid for a replacement tub say I will have mold and rot if it stays the way Coy
left it. I need something to be done. I understand that the plug cannot be
found but at the very least, I need my plugs that were taken to be put back
along with the panel and baseboard. My last call to Coy was a voicemail that I
left asking he come and fix the issues. I even offered to pay a small fee if
needed.
I need for your company to resolve this issue as soon as
possible. If I do not hear from your company within 5 days, which will be May
20, I will be forced to contact the appropriate consumer agencies and consider
my legal alternatives. I may be contacted at the address above or called at
