This was my 5th time staying at this hotel. I have chosen this property because of the cost and central location to the area i visit. The staff is usually cordial and provide basic customer service. Today, after I checked out, I was waiting on my husband to get back to pick me up from the lobby. While I was waiting, a lady, who did not identify herself, but seemed to be working there, asks me if I was waiting for someone. I tell her yes, I was waiting for my husband to pick me up. She then asked if I was checking in or checking out and I let her know I had just checked out. I am visibly looking for my husband to walk in the door to get my bags, then she asks me what room was I staying in. It is clear at this point that she is questioning me to gage if she was going to kick me off the property based on my answers. Instead of asking me if I enjoyed my stay. I asked her why does she want to know the room number if I've already checked out. She didn't answer me and then insisted I told her what room I was staying in. I repeated my question as to why she wanted to know and she just continued with demanding I tell her my room number. I was only standing for a few moments when this happened, so it is not understandable for her to want to know why I am in the lobby with my luggage. When I refused to give my room number, she told me to get off her property, at which time her employee joined her in harassing me, getting in my face and point her finger at me and telling me to shut up. The manager tells me she's going to call the police to have me removed and the employee said she was going to tell the police that I assaulted them. I lphe only one who was assaulted verbally, so for them to use the police to bring me harm is unacceptable. Do not stay here if you are black, no matter what country you come from, you are safe here.

My assistant GM asked her one simple question, which we ask to so many guests, What is your room number? We have right to ask that question to anybody. That was it, just because she asked her that question, she created a scene in the lobby. Due to her extremely disrespectful behavior she was asked to leave the lobby, but she wouldn’t. We had to call police. She took off from the hotel, right before police showed up. Due to her extremely violent and disrespectful behavior she has been placed on DO NOT RENT list by the management. Thank you.

This person responding wasn't there and I also have a witness that I did not cause any commotion. I was threatened by your manager that she would call the police to have me removed from the property. Why would you ask a customer for a room number if they've told you they checked out? The only reason to ask that is if you are questioning the validity of my claim to be a guest. It is rude and if it is your practice, you should do it to everyone, which you never have. I have stayed with you 5 times and I was never approached or asked this question. It wasn't the question, it was the context and the line of questioning that was the problem. NEVER ONCE was she concerned with my stay. Even you now reply with zero concern for your guest being disrespected by your staff, which means that is who YOU are as well. I am a travel agent and will be reporting you so you will be banned from all sites. Good day.
