I would not be writing a review had I not given the owner (Skip) a chance to at least apologize. Skip couldn't have cared less that his employee screamed, yelled and cursed at me.
I hired this company to do blown in insulation. During the process, they damaged a part of the ceiling. They acknowledged it was their fault and they agreed to fix it. They had a repairman call to schedule to come and fix it. I took off work more than once to meet their repairman at the house and he never showed up nor called to let me know he wouldn't make it. When my sales guy called for payment of the insulation I told him I was still waiting for the ceiling to be repaired. I told him their guy never showed up at any of the appointments I made to meet him at the house. My sales guy (Stephen) asked me to try and schedule again. I repeated to Stephen that I had scheduled multiple times and the guy never shows, but Stephen asked me to try again which I agreed to do. The guy scheduled and again he no-showed.
Stephen then told me he'd come fix it himself. So I scheduled a time for him to come. He showed up but realized there was more damage than he was able to fix. Fast forward with the ceiling still not being fixed, I get a phone call from Stephen with him accusing me of dodging him and their new repairman. Keep in mind, I had scheduled several times not once postponing a repair. He threatens to put a lien on my house. He is literally screaming at me over the phone and cursing. He said he had proof their repairman had been reaching out to me but when I asked for that proof he couldn't provide it.
After the phone call, I immediately called Skip ***** (the owner of the company). I told him his employee had been screaming at me and cursing me out. Skips only concern was "get my money". No apology, no concern over the damage done or time I'd taken off..

When the conversation about the lien came up, this is where we were told things started to escalade and get heated. Later after the conversation the homeowner reached out to our handyman and got a date set for the repairs. Insulation Services of Tulsa still takes full responsibility for the damages and plan to cover the costs for repairing the ceiling.

I scheduled with the first contractor 3 different times. He rescheduled once, and stood me up twice. I had to take off work each time to meet him at the house but he didn't show up nor did he call to let me know he wouldn't be there. I have the texts messages to prove this. I also told your employee (Steven) after the second time being stood up and Steven asked me to try again, which I did only to be stood up again. To say that your first contractor reached out and couldn't get a response or date, is an absolute and unequivocal lie. Again, I have the text messages proving this. I have the texts to prove the following.
1) He was scheduled for August 31. The day of the appointment he texted to reschedule which I did.
2) He was then scheduled for September 2. He didn't show up.
3) He confirmed both of these appointments (again I have the texts).
4) On September 2, when he didn't show, I sent him messages and did not get ANY replies until September 14.
5) When he finally did reply on September 14, I then scheduled him for September 22. He didn't show.
Steven, then said he'd fix it himself so I scheduled a time with him to come fix it. (I have these texts as well). So I took of work again to meet him but he wasn't able to fix it. That's FOUR different dates I scheduled someone to come fix it. To make the claim (in your response to this complaint) that you could not get ahold of me is either another blatant untruth or a lack of knowing what's going on in the company. I spoke with your billing lady multiple times. I spoke with your salesperson multiple times. I scheduled with your contractor multiple times.
Your characterization of why things "got heated" is also very misleading. Things got heated because I was accused of "dodging" your contractor in an effort not to pay and threatened with a lien. When your employee accused me of avoiding the second contractor, he screamed he had "proof he (the contractor) had reached out to me". I asked to see the proof, but he suddenly couldn't provide it. I told your employee to give me the contractors number and I'd call him myself. He gave me the phone number of the second contractor and I called the contractor the same day and scheduled immediately. I told the second contractor that I was told he had been trying to reach me with no success. The contractor said he called me ONE TIME but "did not leave a message". ONE missed call from an unknown number is what amounts to trying to reach me?
THIS contractor showed up when he said he would, and is in the process of repairing the ceiling which is taking longer than he expected. I took off an entire day to get it repaired. I will be taking off ANOTHER day for him to complete the work. That's SIX days I've taken time off to work with your people to repair the damage your company did to my ceiling. Yet you call and threaten to file a lien and continue to try and place blame on me.
Let me reiterate, immediately after the violent call from the employee of Insulation Services of Tulsa, I called the owner of the company to let him know what had just happened as well as make sure he knew about my efforts to work with his contractors to get the job done. A simple apology and / or recognition that I HAD been very willing and flexible with his company to get the work completed would have been sufficient. I would not have felt the need to file this complaint. However, the owner's only concern was "I just need to get my money". There was no apology for his employee's behavior. I explained the multiple efforts to work with his contractor, and there was no apology for my inconvenience of taking off work only to be stood up. There was nothing remotely close to "sincerely apologize". It was at that point, I felt a complaint needed to be filed to save others from this treatment. Their reply to the original complaint being completely untrue and misleading further supports the need for the initial complaint.
