Purchasing a vehicle from Hudiburg **** was the most difficult experience I have ever had buying a car. Twice, we were asked by the dealership to bring the vehicle back because they had not done things that should have been done before it was sold. We lived 100 miles from the dealer.The door lock factory code was no where in the vehicle, so we had to return for that to be read by the computer. We also found we were charged for services/items not received totaling over $700. While there on the first trip, we learned that since it was a used vehicle there should have been an oil change done. On this first trip, the issues were addressed, or so we thought. The next day we received a text saying we needed to come back because the vehicle had not been inspected, and it needed to be done within the next two days. While there on the second trip, based on conversations in service between employees, we found out that we had been lied to about what had been done on the first trip. The day after purchase, we brought to their attention the paperwork had the wrong lender because were were being contacted by another bank about our loan. This was not addressed so when we received the title it was incorrect. It took two weeks to get this corrected because no one was ever in when we called, and no calls were returned.We spoke with the general manager who said that it was all miscommunication. He said their dealership went from selling 50 cars a month to 150. It was just growing pains. This dealership has been in business for years. These were simply things that they dealt with every time they sold a vehicle. In the call, he apologized for our inconvenience and offered a free oil change. I told him that I would not drive 200 miles to get the oil changed. So, he told me that he would get back with me on what he could do. We have not talked since. I would not trust anything that you are told at this dealership. While the ** says no one lied, I disagree.
