October 2, 2021 ***** (the new GM) at Brotherhood Garage *****, ** location) confirmed that they were *** certified!! We took my son's *** in for a repair (cam/timing)... They required $1,300 up front and we paid it. After several weeks we received a call from *************************** the owner (I had contacted him after 4 weeks of the car sitting outside the shop half put together with no updates) stating "we have good news and bad news... ********* is the car is finally done... ******** is I don't like how it sounds. We're going to change the oil and drive it around and see if that fixes the problem". Two days later ******* called saying "this is a call noone likes to make... the engine has blown. He stated it was from a faulty part from ***" but after researching I have found that is untrue. *** has NO information about this at all. An actual *** certified mechanic has stated they never should've driven the car and a certified mechanic would've had the necessary equipment to do the repair the right way... *************************** won;t respond to my calls or texts. He said his "insurance won't cover a new engine - only a used one as long as it's found in a reasonable time frame". He also stated he's filing a claim through *** for the "faulty part". The engine was blown November 18, 2021. We haven't heard anything. I learned Monday, January 24, 2021 that our car is locked in their shop at their ****** ** location with a sign on the door stating the location is closed. WE NEED HELP!!!!!
