He recommended Silo*** and X***x. We booked lodging and boarded our pet. He claimed the products were solvent based and EXTREMELY deadly. We asked for written proposal weeks prior to the work. He showed up the day before pretending he lost the proposal. Before committing, we had agreed to an estimate that included foundation repair. However, the day he hand-wrote the contract, he revised the terms, stating the work did not include repairs. We placed a cost limit on repairs. He was a no-show on the first 2 days. He eventually showed up for a whole 30 minutes on the third day, suggesting we should have a Plan B to extend lodging a couple of weeks because the work was more than he estimated. He sent pictures of himself sitting in his truck, *******, with vampire blood on his head. The story was (within 30 minutes on site), a brick had fallen from a distance of four feet onto his head and he needed to leave for stitches.I popped in at all hours to verify materials, supplies, and progress. I took pictures and videos. No deadly products - they were water-based. At that point, I told him we were coming home since the work was only supposed to take at most 4 days. He had access to the basement for 6 days. On the final walk-through, the owner was moping around with a revolver strapped to his bib overalls. I hope you like the work, implying a threat not to say otherwise. It took over an hour to get him out of our house. While I helped him hitch up his trailer to his truck for a second time, I noticed no stitches or scabs on the top of his head.We went through the *** for remedy. Ultimately, I had to remove his work. Repairs: spray foam in the cracks. What a nightmare. I wish I could post pictures. Concrete products on the plumbing, floor, and in the floor drain.
