I never expected to be threatened and ordered off the property, but that's exactly what happened when I met Jason, on March 23, 2024, at 9am. I was helping my friend to shop for his first car, and we showed up for the appointment we scheduled 4 days ago, and confirmed just 18 hours earlier. We had already identified a specific car that was advertised on his lot. He met us with a cold stare and a distinctly unfriendly attitude. Without saying a word, he put a dealer plate on the car, tossed us the key, then disappeared. When I went to look for him, he told me that he changed his mind, and the car was not for sale. All other questions that I asked were answered with "This car is going to the auction. It's not for sale." He directed my attention to a yellow sticker on the windshield that said "THIS CAR IS NOT FOR SALE". So we started to leave, and that's when he started shouting "Get off my property. This is private property." My friend, who is trying to buy the car, is African-American. Just sayin'. I see that this dealership has a rather high approval rating, so I assume that if your skin is white, he'll probably treat you right, but if you're black, I would suggest you stay away. You'll just be insulted, offended, and maybe even hurt. Racist, Ignorant, and Rude are the 3 words I would attribute to Jason. But if this is the kind of injustice that puts a smile on your face, then go see Jason. He'll probably sell you a good car.
