I signed my daughter up for cheer after seeing a ******** special for the ********************* in New port richey FL with popwarner. I provided them with all the requested documentation including a post dated check for $150. The team practiced a few times but did not get to cheer at Jamboree or any other games like other teams. I was not provided any uniform or accessories like advertised on the site. After it was brought to my attention the coaches were being removed I immediately requested a refund for my $200 registration fees and to have my post dated check returned to me. Since August 22nd everyone I have been in contact with to include *************************** and ****** (president of popwarner), have failed in providing me with a refund and my check. On Sept 1st ******* told me I could get my check Mond, Wed, or Thursday. I took off work and went to the field at 6pm Wed 9/6 and Noone was there with checks. Upon calling ******* he apologized and said to come back Thursday or Friday. I can no longer afford to take off work to go to the field to collect this check. I am now requesting my $200 refunded to me by check as well as my post dated check mailed to me. I sent my request to national pop warner contact form on the site only to receive no response. This organization all the way down to the team level for ********************* has failed to provide what was advertised as well as providing a refund. Communication has been poor to say the least. I have been flat out lied to regarding my refund. While ******************************* and popwarner go through a legal battle, my innocent 8 year old lost her opportunity to have an extracurricular activity because this team and popwarner will not refund us so we can sign her up for something else.
