I am not pleased with the corporate behavior of The Good Feet Store. As has been stated on previous comments, this company has legally mandated a consumer purchase their products even when they do not want them! On January 11, 2024, I attended the retail center in ***************, ************ to seek a solution for a painful foot. After recommending and providing a solution, the cost for their products was more than I could afford. I am a retired professional on a fixed pension income. The sales personnel stated their solution could not be supported by healthcare insurance; however, they recommended a credit card that did underwrite this transaction. The total cost was $1,912.60 and I was approved to purchase the package. Interestingly, the sales professional had me sign a receipt that stated the company would provide a store credit for any transaction returned (as long as it met the terms for returning). As I was wearing the foot solution and was completely satisfied (regarding my foot pain), there was no thought about the receipt that I had signed. Within the first week of using the initial insole, my pain completely went away. I took the unopened products back and was given a receipt that has provided store credit for $1,212 dollars. I asked the store to please return the dollar amount to my card since the products had never been opened. The retail center would not cooperate stating it was not their policy. After escalating to their corporate headquarters and speaking with a ****** *******, the matter was still not resolved. I attempted to engage the credit card company, and they stated I was still obligated for the entire amount. I recently took the company to Civil Court hoping to resolve the matter and was not successful. I have no need to use store credit for any products and feel that the store is making me pay for items I don't have nor need. This is unfair to me, and I feel the company has done me a disservice! DO NOT USE THE GOOD FEET STORE!
