    Purchased a home from GSH in August. We have had issue after issue. They aren’t small issues either. Our first month living here we had a contractor in our home every day fixing a massive leak that caused mold as well as a stair railing that came off the wall. It’s fixed but the stains do not match with the other side. We gave up having them color match after so many times. Just wanted everyone out of our home. We have been nice thus far with all of the inconvenience we’ve had with our home. What did it for us to come and complain is the realtor Norell going through the neighborhood and speaking to other neighbors about issues we have had in our home and downplaying the severity of them. We were also told by her that they can’t control what these contractors do. She is extremely unprofessional and being told from other individuals that she rolls her eyes at our issues is extremely concerning. Warranty has been responsive for us and very helpful. That part has been great.

    Good afternoon BBB and thank you for reaching out to us at Great Southern Homes (GSH) in reference to the concerns of Mr. and Mrs. B******. As much as we understand the concerns that are mentioned and brought to our attention in the Customer Experience & Warranty Department at GSH regarding this review, unfortunately we cannot change any concerns or issues that they may have previously occurred in the past. However as the B******'s stated, "Warranty has been responsive for us and very helpful", which is what we strive for and do in order to address any concerns and / or possible issues that our customers / homeowners reach out to us for, in regards to warrantable items for us to assess and handle accordingly. We are currently working w/ the B******'s about a stained baseboard situation outside of the shower door on the baseboard, and to my knowledge, all other items brought before us have been addressed and / or explained as to why those items would not be warranted, such as any damages or issues as a result of the recent hurricane.
