I was referred to ***** Home Inspections by my real estate agent. I hired him to inspect a home I was getting ready to purchase. ************** missed so many key things in my home. What I found out is that they really are not vested in finding what is wrong with a home because you can only go after them for 1.5x what you paid them. He has a fancy report but at the end of the day I have sinks that are leaking. I had to replace my HVAC unit 3 weeks after moving in because the unit was not even wired. The thermostat on the wall was only running by battery and if ************** had actually tried to start the unit downstairs then he would have found that it did not turn on. He never took pictures of the units in the attic. He simply said there was a 10 degree differential between the two units. Almost every window has broken seals. He said that he thought there was flashing on the outside structure and asked the seller to confirm when I found out later that flashing is visible to the nakes eye if you know what you are looking for. He missed that the seal on the bottom of the big garage door is broken and I now have water coming into my garage every rain storm. He missed that both of the french doors are warped and they were missing seals. My master bath leaks from both faucets. He did not catch so many things that I am literally drowning in a sea of problems. My real estate agent, *******************************, kept assuring me that that is why we hire an inspector that its their job to catch the hidden problems. He should be ashamed of himself. I have videos and pictures to prove all of the major things that this inspector missed. I would caution you from ever hiring this man for any work.
