Well, I bought my single wide in Oct. 2020 and the service guy was excellent but once they get the check for the home they treat you like you don't even exist anymore or push you to contact the service department. ***** was good working with me up till the end and after the money was paid we weren't anything but a past customer. I contacted ***** about the underpinning that was installed by a guy and his 3 children 16, 15, and 8-year-olds that cut the underpinning to short so that when the wind blows it comes out of the track that was so poorly done it wasn't professional at all I saw my daughter's underpinning from a professional contractor and it was perfect mine however was HORRIBLE and I have had to pay to have it fixed and it's hard to fix something that a CHILD cut too short that isn't even touching the track just hanging in place. Then my roof has been leaking since the 1st year it's leaking in the walls and the shingles are intake and all the light fixtures are leaking water in them this was before any tropical storms but when I contacted ***** he said this wasn't their problem that it was mine! So I have a home that is 2 yrs old this month and it's leaking water in the walls ***************** and above the doors and light fixtures, and vent fans for the bathrooms. The insurance company has come out and looked at it and stated this was a very badly made home and that this is a manufacturing issue that is a LEMON! I had to have the inside unit replaced by ******* homes because there was a recall but no one said anything it was leaking water everywhere and I asked about it and not even Lumbee Wanted to be responsible for the issue. I will never buy another home from them or ******* homes because they are the worst EVER! I am talking to a lawyer, LLR, Lumbee Homes, and ******* Homes and filing papers against them for damages they knew were happening and told me it wasn't their problem!
