i took my ******** cts to this place for repair on an specific issue that is still occurring.... on 08/24/2021 i paid for parts being put on my car i did not need... i was told by the mechanic i needed after i told him that it wasn't the problem. the total cost was 1536.79 and my car was still doing the issue i need fixed soon after i got my car back... i told them about it and they asked me to bring it back... they stated they couldn't find the issue, yet gave me a quote on other issues which pertain to the issue that is happening with my car... i literally paid for nothing... i just want said issue fixed on my car and honestly don't think they would do it without charging me more money to do so when it should have been done right the first time... no one was listening to me.. especially the mechanic who stated he's been doing his job for 40 years... he went to tell me what i needed after i told him i've already done those exact things... til this very day my car still has the same issue... i honestly feel they should fix said issue at no cost giving that i've paid for nothing.. i came to BBB for help with this because i didn't know what else to do... could you please help me on this matterBusiness response

After 13 years and 171,000 miles, things can happen and sometimes multiple factors and contribute to a performance issue. I spoke to *** *****, the ******** Master Technician who worked on your vehicle, and found out that he test drove the vehicle extensively last time you were in, but was unable to reproduce the brake problem you reported. We feel like it is critically important to only do work we can document the need for, and this is especially important with older vehicles. We want to be sure we make every effort to treat the customer's money as we would our own. In your case, if you are still experiencing a problem, I would like to get you in touch with our service management team and set a time for you to come by the store with your vehicle and demonstrate the problem you are experiencing so that we can fully diagnose and address it. You will be responsible for the cost of any further repair, but we want to be sure we have a path to correct the problem as cost-effectively as possible.
