    This facility was seemingly accommodating prior to September 19, 2022. After my grandmother received her hearing aids she was having difficulty hearing out of the left device. I proceeded to contact the office on September 19, 2022 to schedule a consultation to find out what the issue was and get it corrected so my grandmother could hear. After calling the business to ask for assistance, the receptionist and business personnel were very rude and abrasive. ***y exclaimed in a very dismissive manner that they could see her on Tuesday September 27, 2022 of the following week. I expressed that we really wanted to be seen sooner, as I wasn't coming in for maintenance rather than this was an apparent faulty device that needed immediate attention; after failing so soon after purchase.In person things quickly escalated and both office personnel became belligerent, demeaning and intrusive. At one point the receptionist pointed her finger at me and yelled loudly and rather menacingly "Are you a doctor?" *** doctor tried to assuage the situation and talk to me, failing to control his employees or ask them to calm down, but rather focused his admonishments on me. I was seated and at one point all three of them were speaking harshly at once.My grandmother is nearly 90 years old and can't speak for herself. I am her only advocate and was merely trying to ensure that her hearing aid, which was paid in full I may add, was repaired. I wasn't expecting a brand new hearing aid to stop working.In this climate, it was very off putting to be spoken to and treated that way. *** doctor ultimately took 5 minutes to inspect the hearing aid. *** receptionist, whom I am not sure was qualified, replaced the *** in the device and the doctor did say the *** was faulty; not sure what that is or what it does, as no one explained it to me. Businesses have an accountability to the public that they serve. I will never step another foot in that business. Terrible service to say the least.
