I suggest making sure you get everything in writing and signed by him including drawings beforehand and to be present when the work is performed as the owner tends to change the plan on the job without consent lies and continuously dismisses you and just does what he wants and will leave you to find a job done that in no way represents what was agreed to.

While it is unfortunate that Ms. ***** thinks that this is the way this transaction took place, I have a saved text of what was agreed upon and a check she gave me for a partial payment that she stopped the payment on so it came back on my account. The Sheriff, ************, discussed this with Ms. ***** and after being in business for over 25 years, this is the first time I had decided I would take a case to court after the way she conducted herself. Then she used a misspelling of her name on ******** to slander me. Ms. ***** still owes $1000 and should she not pay the amount, it will be taken to court and a possible lien taken, if necessary. It is unfortunate she thinks she was not given the job she agreed to pay for and I hate the BBB is having to even take the time to review such. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for contacting me. Tony J****** ************

Unfortunately, the only written communication agreed upon was the price and not the scope of the work. That was verbally agreed upon. As stated in my original review, what was agreed upon was not performed and my continuous mention of that fact during the work performed was dismissed and ignored and the worked on my land continued without regard of this fact. What was completed was in no way what was agreed upon. When Jackson Hauling asked me to inspect the final work completed, I explained again that this is not the work that was agreed upon and was once again dismissed and asked for payment immediately. I offered partial payment in good faith that it would be corrected. Partial payment was first refused with a threat of filing a lien and then yanked from my hand with a comment of Ok I will take this payment but I will never set foot on this property again. I asked to confirm. So you are refusing to correct the job and he responded yes and left without any other response. This action made me feel the need to stop payment on the check I wrote since he did not deliver goods and services as agreed. I informed him within 30 minutes of departure that I have placed a stop payment on the payment and that if he was willing to correct the situation I have no problem paying him in full. Jackson hauling has since not only refused to correct the situation but has continuously threatened and harassed me both personally and legally. I am saddened by this entire situation and have tried continuously to come to a agreement to rectify the situation without being able to have Jackson hauling willing to do so.

As stated in her own words, she was asked to inspect the work and she wrote out a payment. I respect the BBB's time.

I would like to refer back to my previous response which already clarified the Chain of events but do not mind reiterating. As stated, I offered partial payment in good faith that it would be corrected. Partial payment was first refused with a threat of filing a lien and then yanked from my hand with a comment of Ok I will take this payment but I will never set foot on this property again. I asked to confirm. So you are refusing to correct the job and he responded yes and left without any other response.
