On June 14th, 2024 I went to La Vie Nail Salon in Johnson City, TN. I waited over an hour and was finally placed with an older gentleman. When he started on my nails, I had been missing 3-4 nails so he had to remove my others and give me a full fresh set. He used a nail (not sure if it was dirty or clean), to rip off my other nails. Then he used one of his tools that grinds, and used it on my nail bed. On my left thumb he went past my nail bed cutting me but still placed an acrylic nail over it. After he did this, I jerked back but he kept going. He was rough during the whole process. He cut the sides of my fingers with his tools and then went to clean the back of my nails. This is where he split the skin and nail apart, to stop the bleeding he just squeezed my hands together and kept working. I finally asked him to not do the design and just give me a chrome finish because I knew that was quick and I would be able to leave. He actually gave me a *** discount card when I left there which is very abnormal for a nail salon. I left there super unhappy and wanting to cry from the pain and experience. I left a google review where the manager apologized and told me to call back to see how I could be compensated. I called back on June 23rd because I hadn't seen his response until then and I asked to speak to the manager twice but was told the manager wasn't in. I asked for the guys name over the phone and he stated "he had no name" and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back later and was given a number of the manager. I had to ask for his name multiple times and still have not been given the name of the man who did my nails. They are saying that I left a ** tip, I don't recall leaving that much I thought I had only left *** He also stated in the beginning that they didn't even have the stickers that were placed on my fingers and the technicians did not claim to do them. So apparently I was never even there.
