I brought my 7 lb teacup poodle to this facility because his hip had become dislocated from the socket. We were there for close to three hours. When I inquired why it was taking so long for us to be seen I was told by front desk "this is an emergency hospital and we will keep getting bumped as dogs come in. "I was told this in a very matter-of-fact/rude manner so as to leave no room for questions. I was shocked at the tone and manner of interaction with a client. I was further shocked that the dogs that were coming in were wagging their tales and seemed to be happy to be there while I was wondering why my dog who was in obvious pain and showed it was being made to wait for care. A tech took him and told me she was taking him back for x-rays and for me to go to the waiting room, but he was placed in a crate in the back where he was left. After waiting with no updates another client was allowed to go to the back and when she came out she commented that there was a little black dog who had been back there a while and was crying.THAT LITTLE BLACK DOG WAS MINE!Still no x-rays.No updates! No NOTHING BUT RUDENESS!When I approached the front desk to see if x-rays had been done and if someone could give me a report of some kind I was rudely told again that this was an emergency hospital and they would get to him when convenient. When vet finally saw him, I calmly asked her why she didn't consider his situation an emergency. She rudely responded "this is an emergency hospital and if you don't like the way we do things you can take your little dog and leave!"He's 13, has congestive heart failure, was in a great deal of pain, very frightened because he had been left alone in a strange place.I can't begin to express my shock at this vet's lact of empathy and rudeness. Because of that I was afraid to let her put him under to put his leg back.So I did what I was told "I took my little dog and left."Check reviews.Others have suffered at their hands as well.Do something to help others.
